Program Overview

Learn Spanish in the most fascinating city in South America…Buenos Aires. Wander the bustling streets and grand avenues of the city and then explore the numerous historic neighborhoods. Experience the enchanting nightlife that the cosmopolitan city is famous for, tango clubs, cafés and world-class theaters.

Academic Overview

Study at the prestigious University of Belgrano, a private university founded in 1964 and located in one of Buenos Aires’ best neighborhoods. Study Spanish with students from all over the world at Belgrano’s state of the art facilities. Classes are taught in Spanish or English. The Argentines have a very distinct Spanish accent, due to their Italian heritage and learning Spanish in Argentina will prepare you for speaking Spanish anywhere.

Excursions

Escape to the Southern Pampas plains, the land of the Argentine cowboy, defined by peaceful villages and breathtaking terrain

Cruise the mystical Río de la Plata, the widest river in the world, passing countless islands covered with beautiful vegetation and rich in wildlife

Visit the historical Uruguayan town of Colonia, a world heritage site and former Portuguese colony

Cultural Activities

Visit Buenos Aires’ most colorful neighborhood, La Boca, built by Italian immigrants

Experience the passion of a Tango performance, the essence of Argentine culture

Explore the many world-class museums that Buenos Aires, a city of art and culture, has to offer

Volunteer Opportunities

We encourage all of our students to volunteer during their study abroad experience. Whether you decide to teach English to local high school students, assist in an Argentine grassroots community service program, or just dedicate time to a food shelter, you will not only better your Spanish, but also make lifelong friends along the way!

Housing

All programs include housing with a local host family. Living and sharing your experience abroad with a host family is one of the highlights of studying overseas.
