Excursions are included in your study abroad program price!

Excursions are a fundamental part of the abroad experience. We carefully select weekend excursions that allow you to discover more about the country in which you are studying and are based on cultural and educational importance or sites of natural beauty. Entrance and transportation fees are always included.

The following is a list of our incredible weekend excursions. The excursions for your program will be confirmed in the Program Calendar you receive one month prior to your program start date.

Atlantic Beach Trip - Mar de Plata*

Argentina shares miles of beautiful coastline with the Atlantic Ocean. Spend a weekend enjoying the amazing beaches just outside of Buenos Aires province. During the Argentine summer months, visiting these beaches is the most popular weekend activity for porteños (people from Buenos Aires). Spend the day relaxing in the sun, bathing in the tranquil waters of the Atlantic, and strolling along the beach. The coastal communities are designed for vacationers and have pleasant, tree-lined boulevards near the beach where you can visit local shops and find countless restaurants and cafés. *Mar de Plata may replace Colonia, Uruguay during the Fall semester (in October or early November). It is also offered for those Spring Semester students who arrive for the early start date (January or February start date). Mar de Plata is a 3 day excursion. Breakfast is included. Lunches and dinners are not included.
