"The community and volunteer activities cover a wide range, and so all students could find something that fits with their own interests and future plans. Students were all very happy with their host families, and spoke affectionately of their "mama tica". Sol Education Abroad has an extensive network of host families - about 100 of them, I was impressed with that. At the end of the program, not only the student, but also the host family fill out a program evaluation, so that any issues can be addressed. The well-managed homestay is clearly a very strong asset of the SOL program. I think the Sol Education Abroad program is a fantastic fit for many of our International Studies majors, and those focused on sustainability or social sciences in general. "
